The position we offer
Workload and Batch Automation is about application automation, integration and orchestration. Integration between applications on a variety of platforms using all kinds of API’s from old school CLI’s to MQ and Web Services. It is about orchestration of event based dependencies between applications. A lot of the internal processing in a bank is controlled via batch jobs. This is a very important and critical task, running the bank.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build our Automation and Orchestration service to deliver a world class solution. You will identify new services and opportunities where automation and orchestration will help to drive efficiency and automation in the bank.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing a Road Map for the Workload automation area, designing the Workload automation architecture and solutions for Platform Engineering.
You will be seated in our Infrastructure/Engineering Monitoring Logging & Search team who are responsible for delivering a wide list of different solutions, tools and development services for Nordea. Examples (in addition to Workload automation and orchestration) are: System and Application monitoring, Logging Service, Enterprise Search and Infrastructure & Development Support.
The qualifications you need
You have experience with Web services such as REST and SOAP and basic knowledge of MQ/JMS. You can also do some basic programming and scripting and have prior experience with Workload automation (Automic/UC4, TWS).
