The job - Your responsibilities will be
- Conduct QA test development and develop streamlined processes and procedures to both capture issues and efficiently test the complete robotic system.
- Develop automated and semi-automated test capabilities for the robots and new feature releases (automatic charging and barcode scanner testing), and assist with the testing of those features.
- Help develop a robust management system for test resource allocation (test space, robots, servers, test equipment).
- Work closely with the product development team for any ongoing prototyping or validation needs and with manufacturing on test implementation
- Drive durability, reliability, environmental testing of robotics components, sub systems/modules and products
- Evaluate results of testing and highlight areas for improvement
- Validate requirements for new product development across the robots supported with a strong user-centric approach
- Support system testing of systems and subsystems
- System-level debug of hardware/software components for the mobile robot platform
- Troubleshoot system problems in production or design by investigating issues related to product performance or production difficulties.
- Review and test all prototypes and beta products to be released by R&D
- Provide technical support for manufacturing as needed
- Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment as well as in a System Engineering/Stage Gate based environment
Your Profile
We expect you to have +5 years of experience and a proven track record from a relevant industry. It is important that our teams focus on development that adds value to our customers, so you have experience with product maturing.
Need to have experience for the position:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineeringMinimum 5+ years of application and product testing experienceExposure to SW development concepts, programming languages (C++ and Python).
- Have hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, UI/UX testing and structured exploratory testing
- Experience performing tests on physical systems.
- Strong analytical reasoning, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Linux.
- Experience with building test fixtures and automated testing routines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with test frameworks
- Experience from working in an agile team
