Engagement Manager, Data Science & Governance, Bagsvaerd

Novozymes has embarked on a journey to enhance business and scientific productivity through better exploration of research data across the organization. Our goal is to increase the productivity of the global science community by providing seamless and intuitive access to research data and state of the art data analysis and visualization tools.

To support us reaching our objectives we are currently looking for an Engagement Manager to join the Data Science & Governance department, within Scientific Data Management & Analysis. You will play a key role on this journey by driving some of our most important digital transformation initiatives, and by ensuring that the department is a proactive and valued partner to the global Research community through continuous presence and engagement.

You have a solid project management background and can lead IT projects to success in close cooperation with the scientific community and other stakeholders. Besides project delivery, you will also be responsible for activates such as identifying and scoping initiatives, creating priorities and visibility across our portfolios, and continuous engagement with key Research stakeholders. You will see your efforts materialize in valuable and viable IT solutions and an increase of customer satisfaction.

You will be working on different types of initiatives, including projects either large or small. They could be local as well as global, run across different technologies and scientific areas and be sourced both internally and externally. In close cooperation with the stakeholders and your colleagues, you will find the right solution and setup for delivering each initiative in an optimal way.

Some travel must be expected.

In this position you need to have:

- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in economy, biology, engineering, IT or relevant disciplines. Master Degree is preferred

- 5+ years of professional project management experience and a solid track record

- Experience in agile project management. Project management certification (e.g. PMI, CSM, Prince 2) is an advantage

- Knowledge about governance, business or scientific processes in international enterprises (an advantage)

- A tenacious, adaptable and passionate mind-set to drive for results; as well as a collaborative and influential approach and a strong customer focus
