Would you like to manage the technical documentation and support a project team in the construction of offshore wind farms? Join us and become Document Controller in our Document and Records Management department, where we support offshore wind farms with overall documentation and transfer processes. The department consists of five teams: Document Control, Records Management, Technical Assistance, Transfer Coordination and Technical Documentation. We are located where the activities take place as integrated members of projects and operational teams, focusing intently on efficient information management. Document and Records Management is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •support a specific scope to manage and ensure correct handling of all types of documentation, critical to our business •be responsible for supervising the collection of documentation deliverables and handle multiple stakeholders with a focus quality and delivery •ensure that all project documentation meets O&M requirements and has been filed in the relevant documentation system •distribute documentation for internal and external review •train others in work processes to ensure that all employees handle documentation in the same way. The work implies a close cooperation with project managers, records managers, engineers and suppliers. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a relevant technical background, eg technical designer, combined with experience of document management – preferably in the wind power industry •have above-average IT skills and knowledge of document management systems, preferably SharePoint, and how such systems are used in a technical engineering environment •are open-minded, positive and have a structured approach to your work with a high focus on details •have good communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effortlessly with your stakeholders •speak and write English fluently, as we operate in an international environment.
