About the apartment

We are seeking an Associate Manager to the Purification Plant IV in Diabetes API production in Kalundborg. If you can coach, motivate, and set direction for hourly paid workers, and if you are eager to ensure a production performing high on quality, delivery and cost, you might be just the leader we are looking for to our well-functioning team responsible for operating our HPLC columns.



Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg is about 1 hour drive from Copenhagen and Odense, covering 1,350,000 m2 with several factories and laboratories. We produce approx. 50% of the world´s insulin and are at the forefront of technology, systems, methods and processes.



The job

We’re seeking a candidate with a relevant background in either our process, HPLC column operations, or within production management. Leadership experience is not a prerequisite but an asset. For us it is important that you’re motivated to take responsibility for a highly motivated team of experienced operators. You know that safety and quality come first while ensuring that delivery and cost targets are met as well.



In the job you share responsibility with another Associate Manager for six teams working on shift 24/7 ensuring column operations according to defined performance criteria. The process is monitored continuously via real-time performance data. Beyond ensuring process performance and cleaning your team contributes to process maintenance, optimization and problem solving.



As Associate Manager you will be an important key player in developing your team and hereby contributing to excellent results for the entire department. You will inspire, guide and set direction for your employees making it clear what targets to pursue, why their efforts are important and how they work efficiently and in compliance with the standards.



Qualifications

Preferably you have an academic degree within engineering, chemistry, supply chain or alike. Alternatively you should have significant experience in HPLC process operations or production management. Managerial experience is an asset.



You have experience with GMP and consider yourself capable of setting direction in a fast moving production environment.



You have a passion for developing the team and being a visible and dynamic leader in the day to day business. You thrive in a changing environment where the goals are ambitious and the complexity is high. It will be an advantage if you have experience with LEAN, systematic optimization and problem-solving. Your collaboration skills are excellent.
