Consorzio Solidarietà Sociale Forlì-Cesena

Consorzio Solidarietà Sociale Forlì-Cesena was set up in 1985 from a group of associations, social cooperatives and individuals who wanted to have a coordinating point for their social interventions in the local territory. Since then, the organization has supported the creation of new social cooperatives, has activated new services necessary to the activities of its members and has contributed to the growth of the local environment.

It now represents 6 social cooperatives and 2 associations which operates in many different fields:

• minors and adolescents

• disability

• elderly

• adult discomfort

• mental health

• addiction problems

• immigrants

• job placement: we have also activate an office for helping unemployed people and people with fewer opportunities to find a job or an internship.

At local level it operates in the province of Forlì-Cesena and at a regional/national level it is a member of different Italian Third Sector networks, such as Consozio Gino Mattarelli (CGM), Federsolidarietà – Confcooperative and Forum del Terzo Settore (Third Sector Forum).

Consorzio manages activities among the partners being a coordinating organization which deals with administration, planning, training for social workers, local volunteering, National/Universal and Regional Civil Service, European Voluntary Service and European Solidarity Corps.
