Test Rig Engineer – Endurance Test Rigs

• You will work in the R&D test center
• You will be part of a fast moving engineering team in a highly innovative environment
• You closely co-operate with test engineering, the test rigs operators and various other R&D departments
• You perform new development tests, analyze and report test data
• You will take ownership for one (or more) test rig(s) to manage its planning, to ensure qualitative operation and to pursue continuous efficiency improvement
• You will write test scripts and sequences on different platforms (Matlab/Simulink, Control Desk, Python), to have the test rig perform the test as specified by test engineering.
• You will report to your Test Rig Engineering team leader

Profile:

• You have an engineering degree in the field of mechatronics or electro mechanics
• You are an independent, perseverant person with a can-do mentality and have no problem getting your hands dirty
• You have experience with 1 or more of following SW-tools: Matlab/Simulink, Control Desk, Canape, Python
• You have experience in the field of automotive testing, test equipment, electro mechanics & hydraulics
• Knowledge of hybrid, automatic, CVT and DCT transmissions is an asset
• You have strong problem solving skills and are familiar with related methods like 8D. But more importantly, you prevent problems by applying a structured personal work method where preparation is as important as execution.
• You have a strong Q-mindset, you are familiar with 5S, housekeeping, preventive maintenance and safety regulations
• Thanks to your clear communication skills and good knowledge of English, you are proficient in reporting knowledge and results
• You are a strong team player
