The J2EE Developer will report directly to the Head of Development. The role will involve working as a team on our existing products. The applicant will also be comfortable with designing and developing new applications independently. A steep learning curve will be involved when new technologies and languages are required to be used on projects. There will be tight deadlines and applicant will be expected to work under pressure to ensure we meet these deadlines comfortably. On occasion there will be scenarios where the developer will be required to deal directly with the customer and may be required to work on location. Certification of integrations with third party companies will require automation scripts and management of resources for timely completion. Maintaining security in our applications is a key part of our Development. The role will involve maintaining knowledge of current trends and will be required to follow standards in their Development.
