The role



You will become part of the Embedded Software Realization Group, which belongs to the R&D unit, Audiology and Embedded Solutions. This group is responsible for implementing the embedded software and associated tools for Oticon hearing aids and associated wireless platforms.



Together with a team of 12 very skilled and motivated mobile app and embedded software developers, your main task is to participate in the successful development of the eSW solutions for the next generation of connectivity products. You will gain the opportunity to work very broad within the SW discipline. This includes everything from PC tools to low level embedded software, such as hardware close microcontroller software including creation of hardware drivers, debugging and reviewing hardware prototypes.



Your role therefore includes the following tasks:



Architecture and module design participation

Securing software documentation from requirements to test

Implementation of embedded software in our accessories portfolio

Integrating the accessories with the hearing aid products

Participation in the development of automated integration test set up for the teams deliveries

Development of tools supporting the test, verification and development in general

Supporting the test center

Producing specifications needed for outsourcing partners



Professional competencies



We expect you to hold a degree at B.Sc. level or equivalent. Furthermore, you have knowledge of the following programming languages, methods and principles:



Bluetooth/BLE technologies

C/C++

C#/.NET

OO development principles

Agile development principles, including continuous testing and integration



In addition, experience with embedded- and medical software and working experience in SCRUM teams would be an advantage. Another plus is an experience with the ARM processor family.
