Design and development of pressure and temperature transmitters You will report to the R&D Director, and your overall responsibility will be to take part in the development of embedded software for various intelligent mechatronic products and be part of optimizing the overall SW development process. In close coorperation with internal and eksternal stakeholders you will contribute to a customer-driven development creating products variance that evolve with customer needs. In addition, you will drive methodology improvements such as automated testisting for existing and the new platforms.Your key tasks will be to: •Develop and implement software/firmware for various smart sensing solutions •Structured software development including documentation and review •Test and release of software and hardware •Variant creation on existing software solutions for the production •Develop fast prototypes •Product lifecycle management As this is a new position, where the right person will have the possibility to influence both the technical solutions and the job, it will be possible to achieve great professional development. Embedded software engineer with flair for electronics solutions You have an educational background as BSc in Software engineering with experience in hardware or BSc in hardware design with experience in embedded software backed up by work experience in C/C++ programming, related productivity and software test methodologies and tools. Experience in hardware protocols esp. like CAN/LIN is a plus. You are able to work both theoretically as well as hands-on with your tasks and are able to solve them from idea to final implementation. On a more personal note, you possess high developed analytical skills and you can keep the greater sense of perspective and be able to prioritize between day-to-day tasks and larger projects.
