Job offer description

Tasks:

  • Construction equipment operators transport e.g. earth-moving machinery, rollers, excavators and wheel loaders before construction work begins and ensure their operational readiness.

  • They also secure the construction site.

  • They operate construction machines, e.g. carry out earthmoving work with excavators, transport components with cranes or operate equipment for civil engineering and road construction.

  • They also maintain the equipment, carry out minor repairs and retrofit the equipment, as required.

     

Requirements:

  • German language skills at least B1 in speaking and writing

  • Completed vocational training as a construction equipment operator

  • Dexterity and eye-hand coordination

  • Concentration capability (e.g. safe guiding of building equipment)

  • Decision-making ability and response speed

  • Technical understanding

  • Applicants must have a driving license and be mobile in order to be able to reach the building sites themselves

     

Frame conditions and benefits for employees:

  • Contract: permanent

  • Collective wage agreement: Construction tarif

  • Working hours: full-time

  • Help with finding an accommodation, support with the authorities. An apartment can also be provided during the first months (payed by your salary).

 

Location: Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany.
