Simulation Engineer (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Modelling and simulation of product functionalities, production related processes as well as environmental interactions
- Applying FE-based simulation tools to describe sensor functionalities and environmental interactions
- Developing and validating corresponding software applications to further improve product and process development efficiency
- Familiarizing with multi-physics simulation topics
- Cooperating with several departments and engineering teams
- Carrying out documentation: preparation of status reports / customer reports
- Innovation: contributions to the Intellectual Property process
Your profile:
- A university degree in mechanical engineering, physics or electrical engineering
- Expertise in the application of FE-based simulation software (e.g. ANSYS, ABAQUS, LS-Dyna)
- An excellent knowledge of numerical simulation and experience with multi-physics simulation topics
- Experience in 3D-CAD software (e.g. CATIA, NX)
- Practical knowledge in programming (FE-based open source software)
- A goal-oriented, interdisciplinary approach
- Creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude
- Fluency in English (written & spoken) is required, German and/or French is an asset
