Agile Test Engineer wanted for the Calypso development team in Capital Markets area in Nordea. You are eager to drive and professionalize our agile test journey in collaboration with others.
The position we offer
The Calypso IT team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Calypso front to back system. The system handles STP deal capture and settlement and information to and from other systems.
In the Global Securities department we are 4 teams on different locations – in total around 60 people.
We are all working on the Calypso system (Front to Back) and the same code base. We are developing the system in close cooperation with our business. We are working agile and currently we have 8 scrum teams.
We work with a broad range of open source tools like Linux (Redhat), Git, Gradle, Java, Eclipse, Tomcat, JBoss, SonarQube, PMD and FindBugs.
As Test Engineer you will be engaged in the following:
- Defining and developing agile test frameworks for the Calypso system
- Introducing agile testing to the developers, analysts and business users
- Implementing test scripts
- Being the technical go-to guy with regards to test
We expect you to be a communicative and engaged test engineer with experience within agile testing. You have a broad technical knowledge and easily analyse the test needs for a system.
You will be part of a collaborative team and must enjoy working with others and naturally help out when needed.
Agile development and continuous integration is very much on the agenda in our team and you will be a natural part in that.
The qualifications you need
You probably hold a master degree, and have experience with agile testing as a Test engineer.
We expect you to have experience in rolling out test frameworks to users, as well as you have keen interest in the testing process and want explore better ways of doing things.
You should understand the full software development lifecycle with exposure to an array of technologies including development languages and testing tools.
Furthermore we expect that you have experience with BDD/TDD/Gherkin and automated GUI test. As well as you possess strong development skills, specifically Java.
As a person you have a positive attitude, are committed and like to work in teams – and not least to take responsibility. You have high quality standards of deliveries as well as you are having good communication skills.
Knowledge about capital markets and specifically about Calypso system will be considered advantageous.
We expect that you speak and write English fluently.
The job is based in Høje Taastrup, Greater Copenhagen area Denmark.
