Radar System Engineer (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Leading the system development of a 79 GHz radar platform
- Cooperating with engineering teams within the Radar Accelerator and the IEE Group
- Analysing and managing system requirements from internal and external sources
- Specifying use cases and modelling the system behaviour
- Setting up and maintaining the system architecture and the system specification
- Deriving requirements to the various sub-systems
- Defining test scenarios and test cases
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and external R&D partners (including academic partners)
Your profile:
- Engineering degree in electronics, computer science or equivalent
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology

3-5 years’ experience in the following subjects:
- Topologies and operational modes of automotive radar systems
- Requirements analysis and management (DOORS)
- Defining architecture and system specification of embedded systems
- Numerical computer simulation (MATLAB)
- Basic automotive electronics development
- Microwave circuit and antenna design
- Basic semiconductor technology for microwave applications
- Basic embedded software development
- Methods of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive SPICE (ISO/IEC 15504)
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems and network/bus standards is a strong asset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are strong assets
