Orwell Healthcare, invites suitable applicants for the post of Lead Infection Prevention & Control Nurse in our Care of the Elderly services. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within our organisation.
The Lead IPC Nurse is responsible for the overall infection prevention and control practices in Orwell Healthcare.
The ideal Candidate will possess the following:
- A registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by NMBI.
- Minimum two years post graduate experience as an IPC Nurse
- Masters qualification in IPC desirable
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- A passion for learning and development and quality improvement
- Have a clear, open and friendly communication style with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately across a variety of situations
- Have fluent spoken and written English
