We are looking for an IT Test Engineer experienced in multinational large-scale agile projects to join the Core Banking Programme in Nordea.

We are looking for a colleague to join our team of quality and testing professionals working in Delivery Streams / Agile Teams together with business and software developers to secure high quality delivery.
As a Test Engineer in the Core Banking Programme (CBP) you will review and comment requirements and technical designs from the test perspective and, on their basis, will plan, design and execute manual and automated tests, both functional and non-functional ones. You will work closely with developers to debug issues throughout software lifecycle and recommend appropriate actions for test results.
You will, among other important tasks, be responsible for:
- Gathering and managing test data
- Developing and maintaining test environments
- Monitoring and documenting test results

The qualifications you need
- We expect you to have BS/MS in Computer Science, engineering or related subject and 1+ years of experience in the field of QA engineering.
- You have worked in international and cross-country environments, and you are familiar with banking; preferably with Core Banking Systems.
- In your previous positions, you have succeeded with defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software systems.
- You are confident with designing and implementing manual and automated test cases and are experienced in various test automation frameworks.
You are familiar with BDD/TDD concepts and have the ability to practically implement them.
- You have also worked with CI frameworks and source code control tools as well as you have experience in test environment planning and implementation.
- Also, you are confident with tools like QC, JIRA, HP UFT, and Selenium.
- In addition, you exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills, have well established understanding of Agile software development, and you are also fluent in test methodologies and processes
