Would you like to be part of an internationally leading centre within diabetes care, research and prevention? Are you interested in working with data management systems, biological data and project management? Then you might be our new the data manager at Steno Diabetes Center.



Steno Diabetes Center is looking for an ambitious data manager to support our researchers with clinical data, drive the establishment of databases to manage this and maintain and develop the biobank. The core-function as data manager is placed in the Clinical Biomedical Unit that comprises of a Laboratory, Clinical Research Unit and a Quality Department. We work in various teams that collaborate in providing data to our stakeholders as we all aim to improve clinical quality of the data we deliver. The Clinical Biomedical Unit is part of the Steno Clinic that treats around 5600 people with diabetes from the Capital Region.



The job

As a data manager you will be a key player in advancing the best in patient care and personalised medicine. This position includes programming to maintain and develop our biobank as well as data management of clinical data and support within our research organisation. You will work closely with researchers, clinicians, statisticians and project managers and will be the driver and coordinator for various projects and activities. In addition, facilitate user requirements gathering for new systems, vendor selection, and transition planning.



Qualifications

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within IT, natural sciences or other relevant degree and an extensive knowledge and experience from industry or academia as well as GCP knowledge. You have experience with data management, database development and potentially biostatistics. You programming experience preferably web development in C-sharp/C# or Visual Basic.



You have excellent overview, presentation and coordination skills and you are thorough and detail oriented with strong analytical skills.



Furthermore, good English skills and an ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other relevant parties.
