About the organisation
Valamar Riviera is the largest tourism company in Croatia operating 30 hotels and resorts and 15 camping resorts in Poreč, Rabac, Dubrovnik and the islands of Krk and Rab. We operate properties on more than 579 ha of land in prime locations along the Adriatic coast, which include 36 km of seaside.
In high season it employs around 6600 people with very high number of returning seasonal workers. Some of them come from the Valamar scholarship system in secondary vocational schools; others learn through work experience. The selection process and care for every employee make Valamar Riviera one of the most desirable employers in the hospitality industry in Croatia. To show how important workers are to us we have 18 different programs for rewarding our employees.
