Job offer description
We are looking for specialists with an educational background in industrial or electrical engineering, natural sciences or neighbouring areas for following activity fields:
- Use of renewable energy (solar, wind, small hydropower)
- Energy efficiency in industry and buildings
- GHG emission mitigation and reduction
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of renewable energy projects
- Assessment of energy efficiency potentials in buildings and/or industrial sectors (energy audits)
- Development of strategies for GHG emission mitigation & assessment of GHG reduction potentials
- Coordination of international (and local) expert teams
- Coordination of project development and proposal elaboration in the sustainable energy division.
Qualifications:
- University degree in energy or industrial engineering, natural sciences or neighbouring areas,
- Several years of professional experience in project development and implementation in the energy sector with focus on, alternative energy, energy savings and GHG reduction
- Fluent in English in speaking and writing and best one or more other European or non-European languages, preferentially French, Spanish or Russian/and Slavic language. Knowledge of German is an asset but not a must.
Beside your technical skills you should enjoy team work, different countries and cultures, and should be prepared to take over responsibility, show a high degree of readiness for actions and flexibility, and enjoy travelling.
Your working environment:
Your new field of activity will be in the department of “Sustainable Energy” based at our corporate headquarters in Bad Homburg v.d.H./Germany
