We need you as our new Sustainability Manager to apply your expertise, to ensure that we are living up to our ambitions and targets regarding sustainability, while Oil & Gas solutions are still in demand across the globe.
Your responsibilities & tasks
You will report directly to the SVP for People, HSEQ & Marketing, whom you will be working in close collaboration with on your projects. You will be a key part in communicating with a broad range of stakeholders and ensuring that sustainability plays an integrated part in our work.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that we live up to our commitments to sustainable practices.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Being the driving force behind the implementation of Semco Maritime’s new sustainability strategy
- Monitoring and reporting on sustainability including SDG-assessments, external and internal communication related to strategy, our targets and performance on sustainability
- Development, implementation and communication of our operational environmental activities globally in collaboration with stakeholders
- Identifying the best possible practices in terms of sustainable solutions, and providing operational support in the implementation of improvements
- Delivering on business and personal KPI’s
- Facilitating workshops and presenting analysis findings to provide recommendations to all levels of the organization
Your profile and qualifications
We imagine that you are an experienced professional, with at least 3 years of solid experience, in the field of international sustainability and that you have held a similar role before. You may have an educational background in business, environmental sciences, environmental management, engineering or sustainability, etc.
To succeed in this position, it is crucial that you:
- Have excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a strategic, analytical and structured mindset
- Can handle a lot of responsibility, have a can-do mindset and love new challenges
- Can motivate yourself and have a strong drive to meet your deadlines
- Are comfortable with written and spoken English
- Communication skills in Danish is a preference but not a requirement
