We are looking for a
Senior Product Improvement Engineer
to Platform Improvement Management, Large Bore engines.

The preferred location for the position is Trieste, Italy. The position is permanent.
As Senior Product Improvement Engineer you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned product improvement cases as projects.
- Develop plans and manage the entire execution of the product improvement cases with the help of cross-divisional teams.
- Maintain data in our systems (i.e. Salesforce and Polarion) which are the main tools of Product Improvement Process.
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical or similar
- 3-10 years of experience with diesel and/or gas engines or some other technical field
- Problems solving and solution finding skills
- Risk management skills
- Good positive drive and ability to work both independently and in teams
- Good communication and co-operation skills
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Project Manager experience seen as a benefit
- Knowledge of Wärtsilä business seen as benefit
