Blue Ocean Robotics, Europe’s largest manufacturer of service robots, has now strengthened its financial muscle, with an investment from the Danish company A.P. The Job
You will join a fantastic team of people with diverse backgrounds and cultures that come together and work with the different types ofmobile robots we create and produce onsite in HQ in Denmark.
As a Quality Control Engineer, your role in the Quality team will be to handle the customer complaints received from the Customer Service team. You will resolve those complaints by following structured problem solving techniques - 8D. You will participate in the cross functional team meetings and share the progress of it. You will document all the data being handled (problem statements, testing of containment and preventive solutions, tracking the action items). You will identify the gaps and address them in the right forum.
Your tasks and responsibilities

Handle customer complaints with the ownership and drive the 8Ds - problem definition, RCA , review and track resolution effectiveness and containment coordination

Act as 8D facilitator

Lead cross functional problem solving teams to drive process and product improvements meticulously

Conducting problem solving in different domains - technical and non-technical

Support for the development of DFMEA and PFMEA

Control the set up procedures to ensure quality in all stages of material handling - incoming, assembly, testing and packing of the robots and ensure capability

Capture, analyze and present quality data

Analyze, validate and report test results
-
Contribute, document and optimize for test facilities and test methods with NPI

Identify new opportunities to improve processes and work procedures from quality perspective
Good to have:

Experience in working with Atlassian platform - Jira and Confluence

Experience in working with ERP system, preferably Odoo

Scrum mindset

Experience with supplier quality

Experience from automotive industry
Your profile

Hold a BA level technical education and bring a proven track record of minimum 3 years of working experience in Robotics/ automation or similar

Expert in handling problem solving techniques and RCA tools

Good communication skills in general and the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders

A high quality and analytical approach to your work

A proactive, optimistic, passionate and self driven personality

Good command over English language (oral and written)
