Are you ready for an exciting opportunity giving you the chance to work with projects across a wide array of locations and with a broad range of stakeholders? Would you like to work in a back-office function where you will support a group of project managers responsible for driving manufacturing projects in IO countries like e.g. Egypt, Algeria and Belarus.

About the department

Contract & Local Manufacturing (CLM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation. CLM is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced drug manufacturing world-wide. The primary role of CLM is to select, monitor and control the production handled by local manufactures in countries like India, Bangladesh, Algeria, Egypt, Russia, Japan and Central Europe. Furthermore CLM is involved in the establishment of new production sites in countries where local presence is required in order to obtain market access. These establishments are mainly driven out of CLM’s International Operations (IO) Project department where this job is situated.

The job is located in Bagsværd, Denmark, however the projects are international and may require your presence and work locally for periods of time. Some travel activity is therefore to be expected.

The job

You will support the various projects driven by project managers in CLM IO Projects. This includes supporting project managers in relation to planning, execution, overseeing that processes are in compliance, reporting on project updates and communicating with CLM project managers on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the department has required documentation and that our personnel receive training according to regulations. Understanding of cGMP, validation experience and aseptic production is an advantage. Familiarity with project execution and project management tools is also beneficial as you will be working with a wide array of projects at different stages. We expect you to take an active role in the continuous development of the projects and the work processes driven out of IO Projects. You will also be facing a number of ad hoc tasks driven out of the department.

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree, e.g. within Engineering or Pharmacy and have experience from pharmaceutical production. Additional experience from other areas within the Pharma Industry and training in relevant competencies such as production, quality, management, economics, legal aspects is also valued. You have experience with project management and enjoy communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders. You have a good understanding of complex processes and know how to operate in a cross-cultural organisation with a high pace. You are able to work independently and you are structured. Fluency in both written and oral English is a prerequisite.

At Novo Nordisk, you will join a patient-centred culture of talented professionals. We respect individuality and empower you to make the most of your potential.
