Mechanical Engineer for designing new technical elements

Help develop attractive LEGO Elements In close cooperation with the entire value chain from design to manufacturing, you will contribute with your technical expertise in terms of clutch power, choice of material, production methods and product specification. Your responsibilities include: Working on complex element construction that supports our portfolio of materials Based on new materials, designing LEGO Elements in CAD (Siemens NX) and creating the technical documentation Specifying quality demands and testing prototypes to verify functions, stabilisation, etc. Aligning deliveries with standards and specifications to ensure a great foundation for manufacturing Continually assessing quality and product safety as well as input, knowledge and demands from other departments and stakeholders to implement process improvements Quality We want to leave a positive impact on the planet we live on, and we have embarked on a journey to find sustainable alternatives to the current materials. Engineer with plastics experience and people skills You get to combine your technical design abilities with your knowledge about materials and design to ensure the LEGO Building system for the future. To facilitate this, you understand your clients and are great at supporting expectations in terms of needs, quality and deliveries, just as you: Hold an Engineering degree, ideally with plastics focus, combined with experience allowing you to understand various plastics to create stable element constructions that clutch onto old ones Have 3+ years of experience with 3D/CAD construction and quality work Have solid insight into product development, construction and preferably project planning as well Ideally have a track record of working across functions in a global organisation Speak and write English effortlessly Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of an exciting journey where you can help positively impact the planet.
