About the department
We are 110 employees in Corporate Procurement in Denmark and along with the global organisation, we manage Novo Nordisk’s total external indirect spend of DKK 25 billion. We are a diverse team working with key stakeholders and colleagues across Novo Nordisk as well as with our suppliers.
The job
The internship position in Corporate Procurement focuses on management consulting and business development. You will work on identifying business development opportunities in our global indirect spend and on improving our processes with focus on stakeholder management. All tasks will provide experience in project management, quantitative data analytics as well as collaboration with suppliers and other functions in Novo Nordisk. You are expected to take responsibility for your projects with strong support and sparring from dedicated project managers and leaders.
The internship is preferably a full-time position, but we are open to some flexibility (e.g. an 80% work week) to allow for studies and/or potentially writing your master thesis in collaboration with Novo Nordisk whilst you are here.
Qualifications
We only hire the best. You are in the process of completing a Master's Degree (e.g. in economics, business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or the like) with a top 20% GPA. You have an international mindset, experience from studying abroad and 1-3 years of relevant work next to your studies. You aspire to work in management consulting or in a large international organisation upon completion of your studies. You take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for yourself and your colleagues. You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and you are comfortable giving presentations. Finally, you work fluently in English.

Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies
Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months
Start date: 1 February 2016 (potentially with flexibility)
