Do you want to be part of our existing global indirect procurement organisation and participate in shaping the future of procurement in Danfoss? And can you call yourself a strong procurement professional? Then you could be our new Category Manager in facility management specialised in hard services (e.g. building maintenance, building management systems, security management, HVAC systems, electrical systems, etc). You will be working in Danfoss Procurement. Danfoss Procurement is responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities on behalf of our factories and across our global categories. The position is based at our Danfoss office in Nordborg, Denmark


A varied, challenging and extremely rewarding job

As Category Manager you will have a wide range of contacts both internally in the organisation as well as with your suppliers. You will be driving a common agenda across different business units and can therefore look forward to a specialised but extremely varied and challenging job where your main tasks will be to:

•Identify and orchestrate implementation of global and regional savings programmes
•Drive change management for indirect commodities across the Danfoss group
•Participate in developing and implementing category strategies
•Deliver savings and process optimisation


To succeed in the job you will need to thrive juggling priorities and navigating the field of multiple suppliers and stakeholders.

Skilled relations manager and negotiator

You have a commercial education combined with solid experience in managing stakeholder and supplier relationships and project managers. In addition, you are an accomplished negotiator. Experience from indirect procurement areas and/or category management will definitely be a plus. It is vital that you have an analytical approach and that you work both independently and in cross-functional teams. You also need to be proactive and to communicate effortlessly with many stakeholders regionally. Your cooperative skills are second to none, and it is natural for you to be an active team member. You are also great at creating relationships.
