ICEpower was founded in 1999 and is fully owned by Bang & Olufsen. Based in Kgs. Lyngby near Copenhagen, we develop and manufacture high performance Class D audio solutions for consumer, professional, automotive and mobile audio applications.
ICEpower has developed an audio software package, ICEsound, which is an audio processing solution for improving the audio quality of Windows and Android products, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. Our products are developed in Denmark and we have a technical on-site support team in Taiwan.
Ensure ongoing progress and lead day-to-day operations
As Technical Lead, you take on the overall responsibility for managing the ICEsound products, ensuring the continued development of the software solutions and the technical support towards the customers.
In doing so, you are actively involved in the software development and you also manage the team in Denmark and Taiwan consisting of 3 colleagues. Furthermore, you ensure through our team in Taiwan that we proactively solve integration issues to avoid delays to the customers’ mass production schedules. This includes both day-to-day bug fixing, trouble shooting and staying on top of technology changes such as new versions of Android, Windows and hardware platforms. Moreover, you ensure good lines of communication between the customer and ICEpower. Regular trips to visit our customers in Asia should be expected.
Lastly, you develop and maintain our technology roadmap, so we constantly innovate our core audio technologies and improve the performance of our solution.
The ideal mix between people skills and solid technical expertise
•You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or other appropriate engineering degree combined with a keen interest in software design.
•You are a skilled software developer with experience in low level Android architecture and keep this knowledge up to date.
•Maybe you have knowledge about and experience with real time audio processing software.
•You have worked closely with business customers previously and know what it takes to make sure that they feel at ease and taken care of.
•Ideally, you possess both hardcore Android/Windows low level development experience and knowledge about real time audio processing.
As a person, you are outgoing and while mastering the technical aspect of the job, you also possess great people skills. It is vital that you have an interest in stepping up and leading a global team and that you communicate effortlessly in English.
