Our cottage SonnenAlm is located at the top of Kampenwand - Aschau.
At 1500 meters altitude at the top of Kampenwand our restaurant and hotel SonnenAlm offers a unique ambiance, easy and convenient to reach by Kampenwand cable car 100 m away from the mountain.
Make yourself comfortable on the sheltered panoramic terrace or in the dining room, surrounded by flowering meadows and majestic rock formations and breathtaking views of the mighty chain of the Central Alps with the Grossglockner, Grossvenediger, Wilder Kaiser and the Loferer mountains.
Culinary serves daily freshly prepared traditional mountain specialties and modern dishes with a seasonal note. The products used as widely as possible based regional - always with special attention to quality, freshness and enjoyment.
Only about 100m away located from the mountain station at 1470m altitude, the Sonnenalm offers a magnificent view of the Central Alps with Watzmann in the east and the Grossglockner in the south. Soak up the sun by the sheltered panoramic terrace with wonderful rustic wooden tables.
