-PTR Robots, a mobile robot to provide safer and better patient transfer and rehabilitation. By working with enabling technologies that result in a faster patient recovery and better working environment for healthcare personnel, with PTR Robots we support the UN Goal 8 of Decent Work and Economic Growth.

Among other things, Blue Ocean Robotics has won one of the robot industry’s most prestigious international awards, the IERA Award.

Blue Ocean Robotics, Europe’s largest manufacturer of service robots, has now strengthened its financial muscle, with an investment from the Danish company A.P. Møller Holding of 335.25 mDKK (45 mEUR/51 mUSD). This will enable the company to roll out its sustainable mobile robot solutions all over the world.

The job

As a Robot Specialist Assistant you will be responsible for remote technical service and support to robots installed at customer locations globally.

Your main tasks will be to provideremote technical service and support to direct customers and partners, herein under:

  • Providing remote support to installations, either done directly by Blue Ocean Robotics or by distributors.

  • Occasionally perform maintenance, repairs and other on-site technical services at customer locations i.e. hospitals, pharma, offices, exhibition centers, schools and various other healthcare and non-healthcare environments.

  • Telephone, e-mail and chat support to users, customers and partners.

  • Participate in temporary robot installations at exhibitions, events and demonstrations

  • Assist with creating best practice descriptions, maintenance manuals, guides and other user-facing documentation.

It will be preferable that you are based in Odense, Denmark or in the Kansas City area, USA..

 

Competencies

You are skilled in working with computers and may be studying Computer Science or robotics. You are interested in learning about robotics and how they work.Further skills required:

  • Studying computer science, electronics, mechatronics, software or equivalent.

  • Familiar with using Linux operating systems.

  • You may have experience in Customer Service

  • Good at communicating with customers, users and technical staff.

  • Excellent English skills.

  • Analytical approach and good at problem solving.

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

  • Self motivated, structured and productive with a good overview.
