Project Engineer – supply chain

Do you want to unfold your strong project management skills and supply chain experience in a growing project management function? At Danfoss Cooling, Manufacturing Technology, we are looking for a result-oriented Project Engineer with strong communication skills and a strong drive. You will join a growing division and be part of the Project Management team in Denmark and Poland, mainly supporting our factory in Nordborg. Your job will be highly cross functional, and you will be navigating in a field of multiple internal and external stakeholders, locally as well as internationally. You will report to the Director of Manufacturing Technology and be located in Nordborg. Focus on project management and cross-functional mind-set As Project Manager, you will be responsible for projects, deliverables and progress for each project. The allocated project teams are based at the local sites, and your job will be to ensure that processes and decisions are aligned across all sites. The challenge for you will be to constantly focus on progress in the project teams. Thus, you will need to act agilely and make the needed adjustments to move the projects forward. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to: •Ensure progress of each project to meet defined milestones and checkpoints •Serve as a contact point for Danfoss Supply Chain in New Product Development (NPD) projects and lead investment and innovation projects in supply chain •Ensure that business requirements meet the business targets and KPIs Proactive, project management skills and business-oriented You hold an engineering degree paired with some years’ project management experience within product development. Moreover, you have some experience leading implementation projects with knowledge about investments in new production equipment. You could also be newly graduated with good results and some practical experience from an internship or the like. You both have the motivation and capability to execute and implement project plans according to time schedules in a highly agile and global environment. You are proactive and committed with strong impact, and a competent networker with empathy who ensures optimal cooperation with all stakeholders. You are the kind of project manager who thrives in an operational role where you make things happen. Accordingly, you need to be both collaborative and firm in your decision making, and you understand and are able to navigate in different work cultures. Finally, you are able to cope with many different tasks at the same time, and your English is at a high level, both verbally and in writing. Expected yearly travel days are approx. 40.
