As CISO for Maersk Drilling you will get the opportunity to lead and develop the information security risk management strategy and governance framework to safeguard critical and sensitive information, processes and infrastructure as well as develop and maintain a culture of information security awareness. You will be responsible for a team consisting of 3 highly competent and dedicated professionals in Lyngby as well as 4 resources in Manila.
Reporting to the CIO, you will play a key role in the global IT Management team and share the responsibility for driving our major IT enabled transformations in Maersk Drilling. You will act as sponsor and steering committee member of projects and be part of the senior management team in Maersk Drilling IT.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be to:
•Own the information security strategic direction, governance framework and compliance initiatives as ensures alignment with business objectives
•Have the responsibility and accountability to achieve business objectives and reduce overall risk
•Have the responsibility and accountability to balance cost and benefits of information security controls with risk, risk appetite and tolerance levels of the organization
•To ensure that information security capabilities are fit for purpose today and that future requirements are anticipated and acted on in a timely manner
•Drive continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility in order to optimize information security capabilities, processes and technologies
Who we are looking for
We imagine that you have a background within global information security and are experienced in adding value to the core of a business from an IT perspective. You have proven people management skills, strong interpersonal skills and you are able to develop and communicate strategies, plans and business cases convincingly at senior management level and have a structured approach to stakeholder management.
On a personal level, you demonstrate high levels of commitment, professionalism and integrity. Building and maintaining strong relations at all levels comes naturally to you and you use your functional knowledge to influence and advise timely and at a relevant level.
To be successful in the position it is a prerequisite to possess:
•Excellent leadership skills and experience in building and maintaining high performing teams
•A good understanding of global information security risk and threat picture and ability to adopt the risk to a Maersk Drilling perspective
•Experience in developing, managing and implementing information security strategy within industrial businesses
•Good functional knowledge of end-to-end Information Security policies, procedures and controls
•Focus on achieving efficiency and business-enablement at the core of all Information Security activities
•Experience with Business continuity management, disaster recovery planning, exercises, auditing, risk analysis, business resumption planning and contingency planning
