UVD Robots ApS is a Danish company, which was established in Odense, Denmark in 2016 following a successful co-development project between Odense University Hospital and Blue Ocean Robotics creating the unique UV-Disinfection Robot. Our UVD Robots provide efficient and automated disinfection solutions for hospitals and life science customers. Application of UV Robots in hospitals patient and operating rooms save patients’ lives by reducing Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI’s) and operational costs for hospitals.
We are pursuing an ambitious strategy for global expansion of UVD Robot solutions based on direct sales to reference customers and volume sales by expansion of our network of distributors and sales partners in Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Americas. Recently we have established sales offices in the United Kingdom, United States of America and in Asia.
As Account Manager in UVD Robots Americas Inc. you will be responsible for direct sales and installations to hospitals and health systems of our UVD Robots in the Western US Region. You will report to the VP of Sales Americas.
UVD Robots is a part of Blue Ocean Robotics, Europe’s largest manufacturer of service robots, who has just recently strengthened its financial muscle, with an investment from the Danish company A.P. Møller Holding of 335.25 mDKK (45 mEUR/51 mUSD). This will enable the company to roll out its sustainable mobile robot solutions all over the world.

The job
You will be responsible for building new direct business for UVD Robots in the western region of the US, by working closely within a new established team, with a clear strategy of becoming the market leader in the US by establishing a strong footprint in the western region.

Market segmentation in close cooperation with headquarter in Denmark to identify strategic customers that can generate a revenue stream within a reasonable timeframe.

Establish Reference Sites in close cooperation with headquarter in Denmark

Responsible for all sales related activities in your own territory

Provide accurate sales forecasting

Work with the proven sales process that UVD robots has identified and execute on best practice

Set the stage for maximum robot utilization

Participation in regional exhibitions, workshops and other relevant marketing activities

Structured territory management via pipeline management, CRM system etc.

Work in the market with sales related activities 80 % of your time

Establish strong relationships with key hospital executives in your territory

This is a remote home based position, your territory will require overnight travel.
Professional competencies
You have experience in sales of technical products,from the healthcare market. Further skills required:

Educational background at relevant commercial or technical degree

5 years of Capital Sales experience from the medical or health care industry is strongly preferred
