In Clinical Operations, Insulin and Diabetes Outcomes we have moved into a new development phase and many new and exciting clinical trials are starting up.If you have at least 5 years of relevant experience within trial management, like to lead international study groups and drive trial activities in collaboration with good colleagues around the world, then we are looking for you.
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.
About the department
In Clinical Operations, Insulin and Diabetes Outcomes we are a team of approximately 50 highly skilled and engaged International Trial Managers, Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators. We are responsible for planning, execution and finalisation of phase 3 trials within the diabetes area. On a daily basis we collaborate closely with Novo Nordisk affiliates and vendors all over the world.Our working environment is characterised by great team spirit, continuous exciting new challenges, high ambitions, global collaboration and professional development opportunities.
The Job
As Senior International Trial Manager you will lead and drive large global clinical trials. You will be responsible for meeting key deliverables in time, at a high quality and within budget. You will chair the international study group, for which you will plan and conduct team meetings with focus on stakeholder engagement, knowledge sharing and decision making.
You will apply a structured and analytical approach during development of relevant trial documents such as trial protocol, informed consent, recruitment strategies, risk analysis plans, communication plans and trial budgets. The job requires you to be detail-oriented while at the same time maintaining a high level overview.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree in medical, biological, pharmaceutical science or equivalent. You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing international clinical trial planning, execution and finalisation. You are a clear communicator with high impact and can motivate a team to deliver their best in an ever-changing environment. You have a quality mind-set and know how to prioritise. You are a dedicated team player, with a high degree of flexibility and cross-cultural awareness and you inspire trust amongst colleagues. It is important that you are fluent in written and spoken English and that you are experienced in using Microsoft Office.
