For our department IS&O within LuxairGroup, we are looking for a (an):
Oracle Analyst & Developer (m/f)
Main duties:
- Develop and update applications into Oracle environments
- Perform analysis based on business requirements and design application to implement
- Follow and apply procedures regarding development lifecycle
- Participate in continuous improvement of the overall Oracle development process and write appropriate procedures where required
- Provide support to the end-user in order to keep the developed applications in a state-of-the-art status
- Provide training on new or changed applications or development tools for team members and business areas.
- Provide advice, guidance, and assistance to team members and business areas on matters related to the implementation and operation of automated information processing solution
- Occasionally, give administrative support to the department
Required profile:
Minimum required criteria:
- Be holder of a bachelor degree “BAC&3” in Information Technology or equivalent or provide proven experience on a similar position
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports and Oracle databases
- Show good communication skills in English (spoken and written), and in French or German
- Accept Duty Travel
Desired or to be acquired criteria:
- Demonstrate knowledge in creation and handling of web services
- Demonstrate knowledge in APEX and BI Publisher development
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be accurate, detail oriented and reliable
- Be able to follow and apply procedures and methodologies
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new Oracle technologies
- Be able to work team-oriented and independently
- Have a very good knowledge of internal processes of IS&O
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and set up complex data
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- Show user skills in the tools used in the department
The ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as an asset
