User Centered Design Specialist

For a newly established central User Experience Design team in Nets we are looking for talented and passionate User Centered Design

Specialist.

In the User Experience Design team we help the business create great products and services for merchants, banks, consumers and the public sector.

As our new colleague you will take a key role in facilitating the user centered design process in Nets through your deep understanding of user centered design processes and through your ability to engage stakeholders from all corners of the organization.

In your daily work you will facilitate workshops, visualize ideas and create proof of concepts. You will help create a seamless service ecosystem around our products and support the business in making it come to life. You will help expand on concepts and make concrete requirements and designs that our software developers can implement. You will help follow up on the product with analytics and testing and suggest improvements and further opportunities. In other words - you will help carry new products from its infancy as an idea to the adulthood of being an essential part of merchants, banks and consumers lives.

The position requires documented experience working with and facilitating user centered design processes.

Working location: Copenhagen area

Key reponsibilities and tasks

Facilitate product and service design activities for local and remote teams.

Pro-actively identify and involve stakeholders.

Conceptualize and visualize product ideas and create proof of concepts.

Identify functionality and service gaps in products compared to competitors and user needs.

Support identification and documentation of business needs and objectives.

Understand and promote best practices within the field of Product Design and User Experience.

Create Personas, Customer Journey Maps, Competitive Analysis’ and Exploratory Research.

Participate in User Experience Design activities such as user studies and prototyping.

Help follow up on product performance and suggest improvements.

Preferred background and qualifications

Documented experience with driving product and service development processes with regards to setting goals and facilitating design activities.

Experience interacting with users and businesses, understanding their needs and translating into product and service designs.

Experience in sketching and visualizing ideas for products and services.

Ability to communicate the necessity and impact of UX to stakeholders in all levels of the organization.

Understanding of agile software development and how to interact with agile software development teams.

Experience with complex enterprise products and system landscapes.

Preferred personal qualities

Friendly, outgoing and eager to collaborate.

Ability to develop networks and relations both internally and externally.

Ability to ensure cooperation between different players.

An innovative and creative nature with an acute attention to detail.

An avid learner that stays up to date on latest trends in product design and technology
