Student for Communication/IT related tasks

We are looking for an engaging colleague to take up the position as IT/Communication student assistant, approximately 15 hours a week. Are you well-structured, service minded, have a can-do attitude and ready for an exciting job in an international environment where challenges and new initiatives are a natural part of your work? Then we have just the right job for you.

About the department

In Haemophilia Network and Training, our mission is to improve the quality and efficiency of haemophilia clinical trials and establish Novo Nordisk as the preferred partner for haemophilia clinical research. We are responsible for the GHN Investigator Portal, an electronic tool facilitating electronic document handling, and we conduct clinical trial training of study nurses and investigators to improve overall trial conduct understanding as well as facilitate networking with the purpose of exchanging knowledge between Novo Nordisk and site staff. We are also responsible for maintaining the haemophilia intraweb. We are a team of 8 engaged employees. Your workplace will be based in Søborg.

The Job

As IT/Communication student assistant, you will be reporting to the IT Manager & Webmaster, Haemophilia Network and Training. You will be involved in a broad spectrum of tasks related to the GHN Investigator Portal. The key tasks will be to create/update training and communication material in connection with a major system upgrade as well as update user support sites with new material, news and other relevant information. You may also have other IT-related tasks, such as maintain light configuration of the system, undertake the role of user administrator, and perform light analysis and troubleshooting of unexpected system behaviour.

Qualifications

The ideal student assistant has a service-minded personality and a “can-do” attitude and feels comfortable in working with electronic systems, web content management, and graphic design. You proactively take action and ownership for tasks and welcome new responsibilities. You are well-structured and enjoy attention to details while still keeping the greater overview.

Your educational background is an ongoing study within IT, web communication or similar. You are highly skilled with MS Office and find it easy to master new IT systems. You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and finally, you must have excellent command of written and spoken English.

As a person you are pro-active, outgoing, structured and solution-oriented, and you are able to stay focused in a complex and fast changing environment. As the tasks and deliverables in our area are many and we depend on each other to work in a very pro-active and independent manner, it is important that you have a team player mind-set, but that you also enjoy driving your own individual deliverables very proactively.

At Novo Nordisk, we strive for excellence. As a world leader in diabetes care and a major player in haemostasis management, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy, we offer our employees opportunities for continuous growth.
