We are looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacology Specialist to join our Clinical Pharmacology department. The department is part of the Experimental Medicine organization, where we are responsible for translating pre-clinical research into early clinical development strategies and for generating the clinical data that support the further global development of both small molecules and biologics.
We have a strong collaborative mindset within the department and in our daily work with other R&D areas and knowledge sharing, trust and openness are a priority for us.
The position is placed at Lundbeck’s headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen.

Highlights from responsibilities
You will contribute both scientifically and strategically to Lundbeck research and development projects:
- Serve as an expert within clinical pharmacology and early clinical development in the department and in cross-functional R&D project teams
- Develop and execute strategies for early clinical development, including responsibility for clinical pharmacology input to global clinical development plans
- Design clinical pharmacology studies in collaboration with cross-functional study teams and external collaborators and support the execution
- Provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases and support regulatory interactions with health authorities
Example on professional and/or interpersonal competencies
Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:
- Relevant academic degree (e.g. medicine, pharmacology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacist, human biologist) with a PhD level of education
- Experience within neuroimmunology, neuroinflammation or autoimmune diseases
- Preferably 5+ years of experience with clinical pharmacology from either academia or industry
- Experience with clinical pharmacology studies, including knowledge of GCP
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English
- Excellence in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Scientifically minded, curios and with an innovative mindset
