Senior Software Developer for Confluence
Job Description
• Continuous integration of new features and plugins (3rd party and individual developments)
• Administration and maintenance of a global Confluence application to meet business critical expectations
• Improvement of infrastructure setup and related deployment/release processes
• Incident Management in cooperation with Operating, QA and Project Management teams distributed around the globe
Requirements to Candidates
• Experienced in Java 7 and 8, total of 4+ years spent developing in Java
• Strong experience in creating and maintaining individual plugins according to specific requirements and using the Atlassian API
• Experienced in optimizing performance of big Confluence installations (knowledge of Confluence Data Center would be an asset)
• Strong knowledge and experience of Oracle database (ideally in combination with Confluence)
• Fluent English spoken and written
• Self-reliant and responsible way of working
• Good analytical and problem solving competencies
• Used to common software development pattern TDD, Pair Programming, Code Reviews
Advantageous
• Used to work in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban) with distributed teams (Hamburg, Tallinn and more)
• Experienced in administration of Atlassian Confluence products including Apache and Tomcat configuration
