A new and exciting position
The position is split into two business areas:
You are our new Business Development Manager for Software in the Industry Segment in the Nordics, and you will as such take on the commercial responsibility to manage and develop the Software business plan, put it into action, and be the driver overall in the region.
You will also be our Water and Wastewater Segment Lead; being commercially responsible for our solutions in this growing segment with focus on environment, industry solutions, economy, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities and activities
You will partner closely with our sales and operational country teams to drive activities ranging from lead generation, sales enablement, lead tracking and measurement of resulting revenue generation.
You will define the content roadmap to fulfil lead generation campaigns, customer intimacy initiatives and sales tools.
Specific areas
You have ownership of two go-to markets:
The Software go-to market for Industry in the Nordic region
- Develop and execute a 3-year plan, and be the counterpart to our sister company Aveva with all their offerings and solutions
The Segment Lead of Water and Wastewater
- Putting on the next layer of business activities in order to become the #1 player within Industrial Automation.

You…
- Are responsible for Sales & Business Development via prospecting, qualifying and selling software solutions, products and services to existing and new clients.
- Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
- Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
- Identify and understand customer requirements, opportunities for improvement, and needs not met.
- Become a key contributor to assist in tailoring the portfolio to address the needs of the market
- Help business to build compelling and specific value propositions for the market
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity
You will report to VP of Industry in Schneider Electric in the Nordics, and you will be based in Denmark.
Education and Experience
- MA/BA degree in a technical, business or marketing field
- Min 5 years in solution selling - preferably in software
- Successfully worked with and contributed to a high performing sales team
- Ability to build sustainable and reliable relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to present clearly, effectively and insightfully to key business stakeholders
