Begin the journey of a lifetime in September 2016

Novo Nordisk’s Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Programme is the perfect springboard for launching a truly challenging global career. By joining our successful international pharmaceutical company, which is the world-renowned leader in diabetes care, you will have the opportunity to use your master’s degree from 2015 or 2016 to change lives and develop your personal and professional skills.

The Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control Graduate Programme

Would you like to develop tomorrow’s products and processes so patients all over the world can get access to innovative medicines? Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control develop solutions that spans from production of the Active Product Ingredient (API), development of methods for analysis and formulation, to packing and distribution for clinical trials. How to analyse and formulate new molecules for treatment of obesity? How can we deliver insulin in tablets? How to scale up complex processes for launch? You can be part of finding those answers.

Novo Nordisk’s Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control Graduate Programme develop highly qualified individuals through in-depth hands-on experience with the entire value chain. During the programme, tight deadlines, cross-departmental collaboration, project management and the challenges of international communication will be part of your work day.

Develop an international network

The Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control Graduate Programme is a 2-year journey consisting of three 8-month rotations:

Two rotations in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control in Denmark

One rotation in one of our large global affiliates, research sites or production sites. This could be in China, US, France or maybe Brazil.

Global opportunities

After successfully completing the programme you will have the necessary professional and personal skills to embark on a career at Novo Nordisk with, for example, a permanent position as an engineer or chemist. While you could be based in Denmark, your broad network and international experience from the programme will provide global career opportunities.

Requirements

To join the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control Graduate Programme you must hold a recent master’s degree from 2015 or 2016 - for example within pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field. You have no more than 1 year of work experience since finishing your studies. It is your hands-on attitude, drive, intellect, commitment and ability to take control of your own development that will get you a position on our Programme.

Joining Novo Nordisk appeals to you, not just because we respect and value our employees, but also because of what we do to change lives. You need to be highly ambitions, yet have a team player mind-set and want to work in an international and culturally-diverse organisation with all the opportunities this provides.

Apply here before 10 January 2016

If you think you have what it takes to change lives, submit your motivational letter, CV (in English) and a 1-minute video response answering the question “Why are you the perfect candidate for the CMC Supply Graduate Programme?”. Upload a copy of your master’s certificate - or latest copy of your grade transcript, if you are still studying.
