Plan and manage major Constructions In this project manager position, you join the LEGO Group at a moment of rapid expansion - propelled by our wish to deliver what our customers expect of us. As a result, we are expanding our facilities in Billund, Denmark, and we are looking for a project manager to support a local construction team of 8 colleagues through great planning and project management of 3-5 major construction projects. You will be managing projects end-to-end: from the design stage, through the tender process, during the construction period and to the closing and commissioning stage. Specifically, your job is to: Coordinate the constructability process during the design stage, prepare tender documentation and evaluate bids as well as provide on-site supervision of the construction progress Develop master time schedules that concur with targets for the relevant phase, do resource scheduling and schedules with requirements and project milestones for external suppliers Maintain time schedules, perform analyses, including milestone tracking and critical path and float analysis, and ensure that we collect progress data and update plans accordingly Document and keep the project organisation informed of time schedule changes and report progress, performance and forecasts in compliance with the LEGO Group requirements Manage external partners (designers, contractors, supervisors, etc.) during project life cycle and coordinate with internal partners (facility, logistic, production, etc.) during the construction period Building tomorrow Within our team of seasoned construction engineers, you will be sure to grow, as we constantly focus on improvements for both our team and processes. Experience with construction planning and management Your success hinges on your ability to maintain an updated time schedule, bringing it to life in a systematic yet visual way. This calls for imagination and an ability to nurture stakeholder alignment and involve stakeholders in due time through communication and coordination. Also, we imagine that you: Have numerous years of relevant work experience within construction planning and project management in general - probably 10 years from a similar position Are an educated structural engineer, architect, constructing architect or similar with a broad knowledge of building constructions and mechanical and electrical installations Are familiar with local standards and codes as well as legal aspects and contracts Understand the end-to-end business and are capable of communicating implications and solutions to people in an easy-to-understand, highly skilled and service-minded way Are an experienced user of MS Project, and that you speak and write English effortlessly Bringing it to life "Take this opportunity to join in on novel and ambitious construction projects that are essential to our future ambitions of reaching 300M+ children in a sustainable way.
