About the department

We support the Novo Nordisk patient focused haemophilia portfolio with translational pharmacology data and provide expert knowledge on physiology/pharmacology to projects from early discovery to post launch.

The department comprises scientists with backgrounds in biology, biomedicine, pharmaceutical bioscience, engineering biology and veterinary medicine working together with laboratory technicians, a trainee, PhD students and PostDocs. Teamwork within the unit as well as in cross-organisational projects is essential to our success.

The position

You will employ your expert in vivo pharmacology knowledge and your personal relation building skills to lead the way for our haemophilia projects by participating in project groups, core teams, and presenting at relevant board meetings. As study director you will design, oversee and guide forefront/cutting edge in vivo research collaborating with others using and optimizing existing models as well as developing, validating, and implementing new models to constantly push state of the art.

Qualifications

You are a proven in vivo pharmacology expert with deep pathophysiology knowledge. You feel confident in collaborating with and eventually leading others across professional fields. Industrial experience and/or experience within the field of coagulation/fibrinolysis research will be preferred, but your deep pharmacology knowledge and high potential is more important to us.

As a person you are curious, innovative, and dynamic with a positive attitude to new ideas and people; you use your excellent communication skills in everything you do. International research experience will be considered a clear advantage.
