Fretheim Hotel is located in Flåm where you get a close encounter with the local culture through decor, locally sourced food and tastes and fantastic nature. We are a proud member of the Historic Hotels and Restaurants and have in recent years been ranked in the top 5 historic hotels in Norway. In order to be awarded such a title, a conscious relationship to the role of host is required, where storytelling forms the framework for the experiences within accommodation and gastronomy. Our hotel is also Eco-Lighthouse certified, and we have a burning commitment and focus on sustainability.  

The Front desk at Fretheim Hotel is looking for hospitality talents to be a part of our team for the summer season 2022. 

To be successful at the Front desk you need to be passionate about the good guest experiences, and you understand that every detail counts. The front desk is the hub of the hotel, and from here we make sure that the guest feels welcome and taken good care of at all times. We always strive for complete guest satisfaction. As the hub of the hotel, we also ensure that information between departments always is up to date. In conclusion, this means that you need to enjoy working in an ever changing and busy environment.

• A language wizard, and speaks several languages, preferably a Scandinavian language
• Experienced from the hospitality business

Requirements for the position  

• Computer knowledge – Minimum requirement Microsoft word/Excel/Outlook
• English Proficiency (Level C1)
• Minimum age of 20 (due to alcohol serving regulations)
