Norway's best is looking for a Baker

Flåm Bakeri has since opening in 2016 delivered high-quality bread, pastries and pizza to locals and tourists alike. We are a proud artisan bakery where guests queue in the summer mornings to get fresh products – sweet or savory – local juices, good coffee, and a good laugh with our staff. Flåm Bakery is now looking for a passionate baker to join our team during the summer season. We are located in the heart of Flåm, at the end of the famous Flåmsbana and the beautiful Aurlandsfjord. Working with us you will be surrounded by spectacular nature and committed colleagues in one of Norway’s leading tourism companies.

In 2021 we opened a Laksen Bakeri og Kafe in Lærdal. We produce and sell many of the same products as in Flåm Bakeri, in addition to our popular home-made pizzas. The location in the pictureseque Lærdal valley, close to the main road to Sogndal, makes our bakery a natural stop along the way. The museum of wild salmon (Villaksmuseet) is undergoing renovation and we are happy to be associated with this venue. There are 40-50 seats inside the cafe and about the same outside the building.

Requirements for the position  

• Formal education as a baker, from Norway or from abroad 
• Work experience from an artisan bakery (håndverksbakeri)
• Permission to work within the EU
