M&M Services are a family run mechanical engineering company founded in 2001 specialising in commercial gas, ventilation, air conditioning, UV technology and electronics.
Due to the growth of our Purevent brand we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to support our growing commercial team. This is an amazing opportunity for the successful candidate to join a company which is both dynamic and progressive.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Preparation of submission and tendering documents
- Ability to read & review schematics & designs
- Fully manage the tendering process, ensuring all jobs are tendered for effectively & on time
- Obtaining estimates and prices from sub-contractors and suppliers
- Follow up tenders and assist with securing projects
- To review contract tender information and identify incomplete elements
- Liaise with Project Managers to analyse labour requirements for each project and pull together associated costs for review
Essential Criteria
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient in use of CAD
- Experience in similar role in a face paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
