Are you strong in technical IT? Would you like to gain a good understanding of hardware infrastructure in a global set-up? Then join us to work with the latest IT technologies in challenging technical projects and alongside skilled colleagues. Help ensure the required high availability of our IT infrastructure As a junior infrastructure engineer, you join the Core Infrastructure team that is responsible for operating LEGO datacentres globally. More specifically, the team focuses on installation and maintenance of servers and storage, including monitoring and capacity management. Participating in the daily operation of servers and storage, your tasks will be to: - Troubleshoot hardware-related incidents - Implement standard changes according to requirements - Change request, release and service management in an ITIL context - Assist in capacity management - Prepare and maintain technical documentation The technologies we work with in the team are Dell servers and blade chassis, IBM P-series servers, HP SAN switches, HP3par storage and IBM Storwize storage. To support the virtual environment, we use VMware ESXi or Xen hypervisors. Connected community The LEGO Group is an international, family-owned business, and collaboration shapes everything we do. You join a team of 12 specialists, who all value the synergies that arise from collaborating to build the enterprise platform for the LEGO Group. Working closely with a project manager and a development lead, you will help us ensure that LEGO employees have access to a state-of-the-art digital workplace. Our passion for IT is visible in our open and supportive dialogue, and we will support you and your ideas. Internationally oriented with a technical background With your technical talent, you are excited to be part of the team, and you look forward to further developing your skills. Moreover, you are outgoing and thrive in close collaboration with your closest colleagues in the team as well as global stakeholders and end users. In addition, you: Have a relevant master's degree within IT or a similar technical education - you may be newly qualified as long as you have a strong interest in server and storage infrastructure Understand the importance of increasing uptime, keeping deadlines and delivering high-quality results Have a reductionist view of the world, eliminating unnecessary work and transforming repeated tasks into an automation-driven operational model Have great communication skills in English, and preferably also Danish, and you are willing to go on a few business trips every year Bringing it to life "This is the perfect job for you, if you are eager to learn and are not afraid to try new things. Here you will get a deep insight into how an IT organisation works, and we promise to help you gain functional expertise to put your career on the right track - maybe growing into a position as infrastructure consultant, engineer or designer?" says Erik Fischer Krogh, Senior Manager, CIT TECH - Core Infrastructure. Join the global LEGO® family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family, where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment. We look forward to reading your application - please remember to attach a motivated cover letter and a current CV in English, when you apply.
