Industrial Engineer (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Gathering analyses and merging information relating to technical specifications for IEE’s products, relevant technical equipment on the market, and common technical methods etc. to ensure IEE maintains and improves its technical and quality market leadership
- Managing equipment requests to ensure a punctual delivery
- Ensuring all activities are performed according to the cost, quality and timing targets of the customer programs
- Supporting customer project teams, prototype builds and ramping up of new products on site
- Releasing or recommending the release of machine and tooling equipment
- Preparing and supporting customer audits and customer PPAP’s
- Performing manufacturing checks and design review
- Supporting remote manufacturing locations
Your profile:
- A university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or physics
- First experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in automotive
- Relevant project management experience
- Good knowledge of production-related KPI’s
- A good understanding of mechanical construction and CAD software
- A profound knowledge of Six Sigma is considered an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office tools. Database, SAP, AutoCAD (or equivalent), Minitab, SolidWorks and/or VBA are considered an asset
- The ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit, pro-active attitude
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French is considered an asset
