Energy Manager to create a sustainable future
Help us reduce our carbon footprint, identify and prioritise energy initiatives across all sites within the LEGO Group and neutralise our environmental impact. In this role, you drive the energy agenda from a global facility perspective and travel up to 50 days a year. Make our energy ambitions come true As Energy Manager, you improve and implement energy management globally in order to reduce energy consumption and carbon emission significantly in a major, global organisation. You join a specialist team that define, develop and ensure the implementation of global processes, standards and policies within the areas of technical supply, technical installations, energy setup and waste management. In short, we define the LEGO Facility building standards. You assemble and lead a small team of Energy Consultants, and you: Gather production data and make production forecasts regarding our energy consumption - both long and short term Manage the processes and standards relating to energy management in the LEGO Group, using these to forward innovative local and global guidelines for energy reduction Collect and share best practices and support all sites and project teams with knowledge support on design and optimisation of energy management Develop benchmarks for energy management and implement the best available technologies and management processes Act on our Planet Promise At the LEGO Group, we have made a Planet Promise to reduce our environmental impact and ultimately become energy balanced. Analytical and visionary energy management expert You succeed because you are able to make energy management a priority at LEGO Facilities globally, collaborating across cultures, functions and time zones. Often, this means making Facility Managers buy into the sustainability agenda and change their actions accordingly. In doing so, you ensure that global standards, procedures and processes within energy management are followed. Your qualifications: You hold 5+ years of experience with energy management and energy setup combined with a degree in Engineering, Science or similar, giving you both theoretical and practical expertise You have a proven track record of analysing complex issues and making recommendations for a solution, using your analytical and strategic mindset You know how to establish and collaborate in global networks , where you use your leadership talent and communicative talent to make things happen You are able to write up reports at a high level for distribution across the organisation, and you speak and write English fluently Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
