Innovative engineering and long-term experience have made Ramboll Wind the world market leader in the design of foundation structures for offshore wind turbines with a share of more than 65% of all installations worldwide. At Ramboll, we also have a substantial market presence in other topics related to wind energy, such wind turbine loads analysis, tower design, floating structures as well as asset management and condition monitoring. We are announcing a vacancy for the position of a Chief Consultant for our consultancy and engineering services in the area of wind turbine loads, aerodynamics and control (LAC). You will operate from one of our global wind hubs (Hamburg, Copenhagen, Esbjerg or London) and will coordinate our global activities in that service area. You will also be actively involved in business and technical development topics within the LAC area, general project management as well as supporting other service areas such as floating structures and innovative condition monitoring solutions.

Your Tasks
- Coordination of the LAC activities within Ramboll
- Work on offshore and onshore client-projects as wind turbine load specialist
- Project management
- Further development of LAC software and processes
- Extension of the market presence and strengthening of the market position of Ramboll in the field of LAC services
- Provide support to new services areas within Ramboll Wind, in particular floating wind turbines and condition monitoring
- Support in project/business development both during the tender and the execution phases, also regarding public and EU-funded R&D projects
Your Key Qualifications
- Comprehensive professional experience, at least 8 years, in wind turbine technology, system dynamics and design load calculations, preferable with experience from a wind turbine manufacturer or a certification agency
- Experience with aero-elastic software, preferably FLEX5
- Proficiency at computer programming, preferably Pascal, Python and Matlab
- Acquaintance with the international wind market
- Sharp skills and experience in solving challenging technical tasks
- Accustomed to working in an international environment and in accommodating to different cultures
- Strong communication skills and business fluent English
