Wärtsilä Fuel Gas Supply Systems is the world leader in the marine market for LNG fuel systems. Our mission is to enable the path to 100% renewable fuels for our customers. We are currently developing fuel systems for future fuels, such as Methanol, Ammonia & Hydrogen.



We are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven E&A Design Engineer, for our fuel system delivery projects. The title will be confirmed depending on the experience level of the candidate.



The position is offered on a permanent basis and the successful candidate will be located in Vaasa (FI) or Gdynia (PL).



What will you be doing?



As an Design Engineer, E&A, your work will include the following responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the E&A engineering within LNGPac customer delivery projects, as well as fuel systems for future renewable fuels
  • Offer technical support for Sales and Supply Management including participation in meetings with customers and sub-suppliers
  • Acquire and coordinate design and engineering data needed for sourcing/purchasing equipment from external suppliers
  • Understand design guidelines, both internal and international standards, and comply with the contractual requirements
  • Make engineering solutions and documentation for delivery projects
  • Support and assist commissioning and startup for customer delivery projects
  • Train subcontractors and trainees
  • Develop and deploy tools and methods for electrical and automation engineering.

     

The below will enable you to shine in this role:

  • M.SC or B.SC in Engineering, E&A
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Good computer and software skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Customer and team work oriented nature
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, to achieve results and to work independently
  • Openness to an international environment
  • Experience in the ATEX/IECEx-directive is an advantage
  • Understanding of process technology and fuel properties is a clear benefit
  • Organized, proactive and result driven attitude to work.
